The rectangular back has a gadroon-carved top rail flanked by scrolling terminals depicting acanthus leaves. The arm supports and the seat rail are decoratively carved in scrolling foliate motifs The sofa is raised on turned, bulbous reeded legs with a ball at the top ending in a ring and peg foot. The seat and back are newly upholstered with a quality white fabric, finished with piping.
